Q. 1 Define the concept of public systems management, Discuss and distinguish new public management and new public administration? (20)
Q. 2 Examine in detail the events experienced in introducing NPM in your country and discuss the relative merits and demerits of your country's experience? (20)
Q. 3 Define policy. Describe the meanings of public policy. Identify the objectives and scope of public policy. Also Analyze different models of public policy which can be incorporated into public policy making? (20)
Q. 4 Conceptualize policy formation and policy adoption. Discuss how a policy can be implemented. What are the tools which can be used for monitoring and evaluation of policies? (20)
Q. 5 Write a comprehensive note on responsive administration using the local and international literature on that you have access relating to this issue. (20)
Guidelines for Doing Assignments
We expect you to answer each question as per instructions in the assignment. You will find it useful to keep the following points in mind:
1) Planning: Read the assignments carefully, go through the Units on which they are based. Make some points regarding each question and then rearrange them in a logical order.
